I would suggest that you might contact Dr. R. Duane Thompson, Marion College, Marion, Indiana 46952. He is an excellent student with special interest in theology and is ta~ing Dr. Dayton's place as head of the religious department at Marion.

When it comes to subjects for consideration, I have been thinking it v~uld be good to have a paper on Wesley's eschatalogical views--especially as they have application to the Second Comming. There is a great deal of current 1 iterature in this field and a growing interest among the people. I notice that an · earlier agenda (1967) included something of this sort, and maybe there is nothing more to write. Just an idea!

I would not care to invite non-Wesleyan scholars. Per­haps we do talk to ourselves too much and need 1 ight from outside, but on the other hand I do not see how dialog in such a gathering as WTS would help. I am of the opinion we v.1ould create more heat than 1 ight. I think that none of our men are isolated from what is going on in the world of scholarship.
