Punjabi University Patiala, one of the premier institutions of highereducation in the north of India, was established on the 30th April,1962 under the Punjabi University Act 1961.

(2) Admission will be made on the merit of M.Tech. EntranceTest to be conducted by Punjabi University, Patiala.
(3) In case, seats remain vacant after allotment of seats toGATE qualified candidates and eligible entrance testqualified candidates, these vacant seats will be offered onthe basis of merit in qualifying examination (B.Tech.)
