Farewell and Welcome "Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare
for it today"
Malcolm X
The welcome and farewell parties form a very important part of a student’s life. Various departments arranged for their respective farewell and welcome parties during the student week. For the new students it was the beginning of the most care-free as well as most important part of their lives.
And for the old students the farewell parties marked the ending of student life and the beginning of their professional careers full of challenges and opportunities. The students prepared various skits and dance items and each party was concluded with a dinner for the students as well as the faculty members.

Message for Students for Rebuilding Nation
“Education is the light that sheds the darkness. Darkness of hatred, darkness of ignorance”
Speech at the Dhaka University Convocation on, 24th March, 1948
“Those of you who have still to continue your studies for some time, do not allow yourselves to be exploited by any political party or self-seeking
politician, your main occupation should be in fairness to yourselves, in fairness to your parents and indeed in fairness to the State, to devote your
attention solely to your studies. It is only thus that you can equip yourselves for the battle of life that lies ahead of you. Only thus will you be an asset
and a source of strength and of pride to your State. Only thus, can you assist it in solving the great social and economic problems that confront it and
enable it to reach its destined goal among the most progressive and strongest nations of the world”
“Youth is that spark which needs no ignition”
Youth in order to make our country developed, has to sacrifice not only their lives by protecting Pakistan at the borders but also has to protect from internal threats, and make the society a healthy place to live. It is possible only, if the youth realize to stay healthy by sacrificing selfishness and by thinking dedicatedly for the growth of nation. As a Pakistani youth, being proud of our rich and varied heritage, we take an oath whole-heartedly that, we will strive for the development of our country and our people and in their well being and prosperity alone, lays our happiness.
