At the outset, we congratulate the ISE Department and Specially the Newsletter
Committee Members for their efforts in bringing out the Newsletter. Newsletter is an
amalgamation of all the events held in the department and it plays an instrumental role in
providing a greater exposure of the achievements accomplished by the students and the
faculty. We wish all the very best in your endeavors.

Principal's Message:
As students are the members of a progressive society, teachers are
the architects of a country. The true education should deepen our
insight, widen our horizon and create a meaningful outlook.
Equally the students are fortunate enough to have born in a free
nation, with all the facilities to shape their career in such a way,
that they should be part of a good and healthy society with
progressive attitude towards divinity.
HOD’s Message:
My appeal to my dear students is to attend all classes, make use
of library extensively and read textbooks regularly take part in
technical paper presentations and seminars and undergo training
in various skills sets, so that, they will not face difficult times in
their professional career since, they will be mostly on standalone
mode. In this respect, I humbly request the parents and guardians
to show more interest in their ward’s day to day activities and
overall performance.

Hearty welcome to the newly launched ISE Department’s
first issue of the newsletter for the academic year 2015-16.
The objectives of the newsletter is to mainly focus on the
Achievements of the Students and Faculty members
from the ISE department in Curricular, Co-curricular
and Extra-curricular Activities.

About Our Department
The department was established in the year 2001 with an intake of 60 students. The
department is equipped with all necessary infrastructure and laboratory facilities. Keeping in
view of the vision of the institute, the department of ISE is working to achieve excellence in
various aspects such as: students’ performance, effective teacher-student relationship,
imparting quality education to students, motivating faculty and students towards research and
imbibing best human qualities in students.
The Department has a strong and active Forum EXOTIC helping in all-round
development of the students through various Technical Workshops on Recent Technologies
like Python, XAMP for Web Application Development, Android etc. Extensive placement
trainings are conducted to improve employability of the students. The faculty of the
department is actively involved in research activities in various technical domains.
Our Department’s Vision
To develop technologically competent Information Science engineers who are
socially responsible and capable of working in multicultural environments
Our Department’s Mission
1. Developing quality engineers in Information Science & Engineering.
2. To inculcate social and ethical values in students to perform better in multicultural
environment.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
1. A graduate must acquire knowledge to be proficient computer professional to solve
wide range of computing related problems.
2. To inculcate social and ethical attitudes, communication skills, entrepreneur skills,
multidiscipline approach in students.
Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
A student will be able to,
1. Apply knowledge of programming skills and recent IT technologies for problem
solving.
2. Design and Development of IT solutions for addressing real time problems.
