The course is designed to give the students information on social casework process,
basic concepts involved and its scientific basis. There will be discussion on client –
caseworkers relationship diagonals and treatment process, interviewing techniques
and tools like recording and its types. It also involves discussion on authority and its
use in social casework, the phenomena of transference and types of treatment etc.
