The Brief & The Solution

DWS had not reviewed its provision of furniture and associated

post-implementation support services for eight years. Whilst

happy with their incumbent suppliers, the law firm

nevertheless recognised that there was a requirement to go to

market to understand who and what was available in the

marketplace.

As a result of this process, Claremont successfully tendered to

provide the system furniture (including; workstations, operator

chairs, soft seating, executive furniture and mobile filing) for

the new DWS Milton Keynes office, replacing existing furniture,

whilst also ensuring continuity of design.

Claremont, who worked with Staverton to supply the furniture,

worked to a tight timescale, with only four weeks to deliver and

install all furniture products, including all bespoke joinery

items.

Denton Wilde Sapte LLP (DWS) offer a full

range of commercial legal services,

employing over 600 lawyers across the UK

and Europe. Having established its Milton

Keynes office in 1988, in 2009, DWS took

the decision to relocate to state-of-the-art

offices in the new BREEAM ‘Excellent’

rated Pinnacle:MK development.

Claremont Group Interiors successfully

tendered to provide all new system

furniture for the new office.

The Result

As a landmark office building within Milton Keynes, Claremont

worked closely with both DWS and Staverton to provide a

furniture system which would not only be appropriate to the

company’s new surroundings, but would also allow them to hit

the ground running. The post-installation service provided by

Claremont was also of paramount importance to the law firm.

Roland Gray, Partner at Denton Wilde Sapte, said;

“We wanted the furniture to both reflect DWS and our new

environment at Pinnacle and we needed the work completing

in a short space of time. Claremont met every objective and

were happy to work within our tight timescales so we’re

delighted with the progress being made.”
