The TMD & Sleep Education Program of Dr. Steven Olmos, DDS, is proud of its reputation as being a leader in training for the dental profession in the study and treatment of TMD and related sleep disorders. This comprehensive 6 day (3 Session) course provides an integrated approach to care that includes more in-depth diagnosis, the latest treatment technologies and training for all levels of the dentist’s practice. A stable TMJ should be the first obtained before restorative, orthodontic or prosthetic treatment. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to confidently diagnose and treat TM Dysfunction based on meticulously researched scientific evidence and combined with a practical hands-on approach.

Dr. Steven Olmos DDS, DABCP, DABDSM, DAAPM, FIAO, FAAOP, FAACP, FICCMO, FADI

Dr. Steven Olmos is an internationally recognized lecturer and researcher, and the founder of the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre’s International. He graduated from the USC School of Dentistry, and has dedicated the past 25 years to the fields of craniofacial pain, TMD and sleep disordered breathing. He has extensive post graduate education and board certifications in both craniofacial pain and dental sleep medicine. Dr. Olmos is an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where his system of diagnosis and treatment are utilized at the school’s Craniofacial Pain Center. He is currently directing research in these fields through data collection at 19 TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre’s including the Craniofacial Pain Center at the University of Tennessee. This effort is focused to establish protocols between dentistry and medicine for optimal treatment outcomes.
