Directions: Coming from the West: • Take 694W going East toward St. Paul; take the exit 51/120 or Century Ave; turn left at Century Ave going north. Coming from the East: • Take 694E going West toward Minneapolis; exit on county 120 or Century Ave; turn right at Century Ave going north. • FRONT PARKING ( Lot H, G or F) Turn on the first right turn before the school. Go up the ramp to second floor; either take the elevator or stairs to 3rd floor; turn left down the hall to the Dental Clinic Room E3651. • BACK PARKING (Lots B, C & D) Turn right at the stop lights go around to the back. Enter through the double doors. Take the elevator or stair to 3rd floor; turn left go down to the end of the hall to the Dental Clinic Room E3651. Length of appointments: Because your care provider is a dental hygiene student, you should expect appointments to last as long as three hours. This time is necessary to allow the students and instructors sufficient time to learn and teach, as well as take care of you. In return for your time we will keep our fees very affordable. You will be allowed to take breaks if you need one. We appreciate your understanding! How to make an appointment: • The dental clinic answering machine will take your message 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. • The clinic manager checks messages and makes appointments during regular working hours. Please leave your name and a phone number in the voice mail system. • In order to provide required clinical experiences for our students, we prioritize patient needs and match them up with students needs. • You will be informed when times are available for your type of appointment. • If you want or need an appointment sooner than we can provide, we would be delighted to help you with a referral to another clinic. • You may be placed on a waiting list for the next available appointment. • Please note it is common for the clinic to be booked months ahead but openings can occur every week. Please let us know if you are available for short notice. If unable to keep your appointments, kindly give 24 hours notice. Otherwise, we reserve the right to give your appointments to some one else.

Dental services available from dental hygiene students:

• Dental cleanings • Dental X-rays • Dental hygiene assessment • Fluoride treatments • Sealants • Non-surgical treatment for gum problems • Referrals to other dental clinic for additional care Note: Licensed dentists and hygienists provide supervision at all times while students are treating patients.

Costs: (updated Spring 2019)

• $50 per person Ages 18–62• $40 per person Age 63 & older • $25 per person Age17 & under • $35 Students (must present current Century College Student ID)

Appointment Information• No morning or weekend appointments• No walk-in’s• No insurance

Note: Additional fees may be charged for certain other products and services. Fees are subject to change yearly. Payment is due the day of service.

RESTRICTIONS We will reschedule your appointment if you… • Have an active cold sore or fever blister• Have had a heart attack or stroke within six months • Have uncontrolled high blood pressure• Have a fever, the flu or a bad cough• Take blood thinning drugs and your pro-time is not in a safe range • Need pre-medication prior to your dental appointment and you haven’t taken it.
