This demolition work plan details the method for the safe execution of the demolition. All works will be carried out under the licence holder: PF Civil Pty Ltd demolition licence #: AD212205 Nominated supervisor: Brendan Roots Demolition work completed for Pendle Hill High School, Toongabbie shall comply with the provisions of AS2601:2001 – The demolition of Structures. (Standards Australia, 2001). Prior to the commencement of construction, demolition work plans required by AS 2601-2001 The demolition of structures (Standards Australia, 2001) must be accompanied by a written statement from a suitably qualified person that the proposals contained in the work plan comply with the safety requirements of the Standard. The work plans and the statement of compliance must be submitted to the Certifier and Planning Secretary. PROCEDURE: Location & disconnection of services. Exclusion zone to be established. Machinery will be used to perform removal of existing trees, security fencing, kerbs, gutters, asphalt and concrete footpaths. Debris will be loaded on to trucks with excavator. Debris will be disposed of at a licensed waste facility. The demolition has at time frame of approximately two weeks. All persons working within the exclusion zone are supplied with appropriate PPE, have been inducted into the site & will carry out works as per the SWMS on site. The exclusion zone is no less than four metres from the demolition area & is fenced with safety fencing.
