Features

Top plate double drilled to fit ISO 5211dimensions and standard secondarybolt circle dimensions. All handles,gear operators and pneumatic DelTorqactuators are designed to mountdirectly to DelVal Valves.

Nylon PA 12 coated disc optionensures excellent corrosion resistanceto several chemical media. The hard,non-porous sintered polymer has verylow hygroscopicity and is suitable foruse in drinking water and non-alcoholic foodstuffs.

One piece stem with closetolerance double D drive eliminates

the need for disc screws or taperpins.

Double O-rings are molded in bothupper and lower journals providing asuperior secondary seal.

Unique stem retention system toprovide blow-out proof stem and

assembly and disassembly ovalve.easy

Heavy duty acetal bushing absorbsthe forces acting on the stem/discassembly due to line pressure.

Heavy duty one-piece body withextended neck for 2 pipinginsulation. Standard coating is twocoats of hard, Zinc-rich epoxy foexcellent corrosion resistance.

Unique Center-Lock seat designvirtually eliminates any seat movementduring the seating and un-seating of thedisc.

High strength disc with handpolished disc edge and hubs.

Heavy duty square-grooved seatdesign with molded O-ring seals toserve as flange gaskets. EPDM andBuna-N seats are peroxide cured toyield the best elastic properties ofthe elastomer.

Precision machined radius on th

upper and lower disc hubs is presseagainst upper and lower seat sealingfaces for achieving primary sealingbetween disc and seat.

Stem connection available in standardDelVal sizes or optional sizes to matchstandard secondary top plate drilling.

Operators

Valves up to size 12 can be suppliedwith lever handles for manualoperation. Optional accessories forhand-lever operation can be providedfor various flow control requirements.Pad locking can also be provided forpreventing unauthorized operation.

Valves up to size 24 can be directmounted with gear operators formanual operation. Gear operatorscan also be attached with chain-wheel operators for opening orclosing valves located onpipelines at high elevations.

All valves can be direct mounted withpneumatic actuators or electricactuators and accessories forcomplete automation options suchas fail open/close & positionercontrolled. Valves can be mountedwith manual overrides.

Dead-End Service : Wi thout a

downstream flange installed, the dead-end pressure ratings are equal to thevalues stated above.
