ARCHITECTURE
• The Data Reduction logic utilizes the write path change in Unity OE version 4.1• Host writes are acknowledged before the Data Reduction logic is
reached
• Deduplication and compression logic occurs before destaging writes to disk• Reduces the amount of data that is written to disk
