Lean practices in construction are driving change worldwide. Lean focusses the supply chain on improving customer satisfaction and the elimination of waste. While most organisations aspire to do this, lean organisations actively focus on measuring and demonstrating improvement towards these outcomes on a weekly basis. Recent analysis on a major project showed that labour productivity in the field improved by 20% once lean practices were adopted.
