The food in A Li Yaa is rich, spicy, and super delicious. Sri Lankan expats will not be disappointed.

The beverage, or ‘tanni’ menu, has a variety of exotic and intoxicating cocktails, mocktails, fruit juices, hot drinks, soft drinks, wines and more. For cocktail lovers, make sure you try the Jaffna Bling Bling (RM24) which is Baileys, chocolate vodka, sugar and milk. The Lycheetini (RM25) is also delicious. The Virgin Mojito is a refreshing taste for those who don’t fancy alcohol in their drinks.

The food menu will leave you drooling and a little clueless if you’re not used to the terms used, like the A Li Yaa Pittu or the Kandian Chicken Dance. Of course the descriptive summary of each dish will help you out, or you could easily ask the friendly, knowledgeable and patient waiters to help you decide what to order. The menu caters to meat lovers as well as vegetarians.
