LLB VFB PANCAKE BREAKFAST 2013
Working at the bake sale table: Candy Curtis, Debbie Talvensaari, Pat Erlandson, Helen Wills and Donna Waarala.
The LLB Pancake Breakfast was held Sunday, April 28 at the Allouez Community Center. We were grateful to see so many people supporting this annual fund raiser. It was a time to welcome back many who hadnʼt seen over the winter. We again thank the women of the Lac La Belle area who provide baked goods. Their time and effort is greatly appreciated.
The Meyers Family was well represented: Barbara Battersby with her mother and aunt; Mary Anne Meyers Battersby and Margaret Meyers Jones.

SSA NEWS & WELCOME BACK TO LLBWelcome back to LLB
has become a great time to gather and greet your friends for a new season. SSA provided BBQ and hotdogs for approximately 40 attendees.
Summer Fest has been planned and will be held August 4 at Haven Park starting at 1 P.M. Pulled pork, brats and hot dogs will be provided. There will be games for kids, prizes and drawings. Come and enjoy!
Marge Meyers and Sharon Stocker were among the attendees.
The LLB Fire Dept. will have a Fish Boil Fund Raiser Saturday, August 24 at the Fire Hall. The Fish Boil will take place after the Kidʼs Fishing Tournament. Time and other
Keegan Roberts was a big help as grandpa Tom Talvensaari and other volunteer firemen washed fire trucks.

FINAL COLORADO PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Henry Newlin, younger attendee along with volunteer Janet Curzon and Henryʼs grandma Laura Newlin enjoyed the weather and pancake breakfast.
Volunteer Lisa Milster along with Jim Looney, master pancake flipper and Dennis Schultz, sausage cook helped provide a great breakfast.
The LLB VFD would like to thank Susan Strohl, Jim Looney and their families for their effort and enthusiasm. They have been greatly appreciated.

community organization.
Your InvolvementAll residents are encouraged to run for Grant Township office, register to vote in Grant Township,
and attend Township and County meetings. This is the most important thing you can do to promote our interests on the South Shore. By attending SSA meetings, you can share your ideas, get informed, get networked, and be part of the various projects we undertake to enhance the quality of life on the South Shore.
Guiding Principles1. To be the voice of the South Shore in Grant Township and insure proper and equitable distribution of tax dollars.2. To improve and maintain desirable living conditions for the many cottage dwellers and permanent South Shore residents in Grant Township.3. To provide and maintain a friendly spirit of cooperation among the members for mutual benefit and enjoyment.4. To support and enhance a quality of life on the South Shore.
