Del Rosario,Tanco, Celinowelcomeguests to

CAPIZTAHAN2013

he offices of Capiz Fist District Rep. Antonio A. del Rosario, Capiz Gov. Victor A. Tanco and Roxas City Mayor Angel Alan B. Celino are laying the red carpet to guests and observers who will come to this “Seafood Capital of the Philip-

pines” for the CAPIZTAHAN 2013.

The three officials have been on top of the various ac-tivities lined up for CAPIZTAHAN 2013. This year, the cel-ebration is held to commemorate the 112th foundation day of the civil government of Capiz and the 65th death anni-versary of President Manuel Acuña Roxas.

Del Rosario, Tanco and Celino, along with Vice Gov. Es-teban Evan B. Contreras and Roxas City Vice Mayor Ronnie T. Dadivas, are active members of the United Capizeños Foundation Inc., which is better known as ONE Capiz. ONE Capiz has been handling the CAPIZTAHAN Festival for three years now. It grew out of a dream for a truly collab-orative, participatory and consultative approach to gover-nance and public service. The local business community is represented in ONE Capiz by Jose Neri Ong, who is this year’s CAPIZTAHAN co-chair. With a shared vision for “Capizeños moving as ONE,” the foundation aspires to mobilize Capizeños everywhere –to generate resources and help accelerate development initiatives and programs set by the Provincial and City gov-ernments. And as a response to President Noynoy Aquino’s call for dynamic public-private partnerships, ONE Capiz endeavors to actively participate in the local government’s pursuit of having “Happy, Healthy and Productive Capizeños.” (CAPIZTAHAN Publicity and Promotion Committee)
