ADJECTIVE SMACKDOWN
Degrees of Adjectives are used for comparing multiple objects
The three degrees of adjectives are Positive, Comparative, and Superlative
Degrees of Adjectives
Positive Adjectives
Positive adjectives are normal adjectives with no degree ( e.g. tough, cool, awesome)
“Macho Man Randy Savage is one tough dude.”
Comparative Adjectives
Comparative adjectives are used to make a comparison between two things (e.g. tougher, cooler, more awesome)
“Hulk Hogan is cooler than John Cena.”
Superlative Adjectives
Superlative adjectives are used to make a comparison between 3 or more things (e.g. toughest, coolest, most awesome)
“Andre the Giant is the most awesome wrestler of all time!”
