RAD11 – BRIDGE BATCH PROCESSOR
Uses the list file RAD11M01 Each record in RAD11M01 contains the name of a data file ready
for processing Each data file contains records from Banner, and may contain
multiple students courses, course equivalencies, etc.
CROSSING THE BANNER BRIDGE
Data is Extracted from Banner Formatted based on Degree Works data storage rules Loaded into records in the Bridge Interface Format (BIF) Passed to the “radbridge” (RAD11) subroutine Loaded into the RAD and DAP databases Each BIF record has an 8-byte identifier Identifier is code key to the Degree Works Bridge
