DESCRIPTION
The Colt Defender F has beenspecifically designed for use
withinmechanical shaft ventilation applications.This fire rated
ventilator is ideally suitedto the Colt Shaft system, and can
becontrolled as part of the shaft systemnetwork.
It offers a fire rated constructionequivalent to that of an
E30Sa door asrequired by:
- Approved Document B for smokeventilation of common corridors
inresidential developments
- BS 9999: 2008 for smoke ventilation infire fighting
shafts.
DETAILS
The Colt Defender F has beendesigned for ease of installationand
maintenance without having to gainaccess to the shaft.
Motors are 230Vac only and areoperated using a maintained supply
fromthe fan control panel.The unit iscomplete with a 1.8m flying
lead.
Standard width is 630mm wide x1350mm high (structural
opening).
Standard finish is white RAL 9010matt, satin or gloss. Other
coloursare available on request.
The Colt Defender F is designedto be as unobtrusive as
possibleand blend in with the surroundings.
