Event Overview Global Data’s ‘Construction in India – Key Trends and
Opportunities to 2023’ report reveals that India’s
construction industry is expected to grow at a compounded
annual average of 6.44% to USD 690.9 billion in 2023.
Industry leaders need to gear up to tap the opportunities, to
enhance their capabilities, work practices and skill levels of
engineers/workmen to manage complex nature of major
infrastructure projects and to avert project time/cost over-
runs, quality and safety issues.
As a continuity of its efforts in this direction specific to
Deep Foundation Industry, DFII has planned the 9th
Annual Conference on Deep Foundations Technologies for
Infrastructure Development in India, to be held at National
Academy of Construction (NAC), Hyderabad, Telangana,
India, during November 15-16, 2019 and all stakeholders
are requested to join this event.
About the Conference The two-day conference will span over four sessions
highlighting the Advances in the Deep Foundations, Earth
Retention Systems, Ground Improvement; Developments
in Safe and Efficient Geo-Construction; Improving Current
Work Practices supported by Case Studies; and Urban
Development/Redevelopment. The conference will be
preceded by a pre-conference workshop on November 14,
2019 on the topic Design, Construction, and Applications
of Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) Pile in India. All
delegates can also witness interesting deliberations as a part
of panel discussion programs, how collectively and through
a structured program we can implement new technologies,
good work practices, skill programs and student programs
to groom future leaders.
