For this rite you will need:An appropriate incense One black candle A pleasing, red wine And a symbol of your dedication It is preferable to be nude for this rite.When you are ready, cast the circle, then light the incense and candle. Call to Hecate, asking her to be with you:Dark mother, Hecate, join me for this rite. Feel her presence and say:I am naked, as a sign that I am free; and I am here that I may answer your call. I dedicate Myself to you, and will walk the path you lead me on. If you have a symbol you would like to dedicate as well, now is the time. When finished, raise the cup of wine to Hecate and say:Hecate, bless this wine as dark and strong as you. Now drink from the cup, saying: I take unto me all that you give."This is the time to meditate and commune with Hecate. When you are ready, thank her for her presence and close the circle. Lastly, use the remaining wine as a libation, saying: I give you all that I am.
