Decision on changed accreditation – Electrical testing (3 appendices) Decision Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment (Swedac) amends its decision dated the decision 2019-06-28 in case 2018/1734 in such a way that the decision is written in the laboratory’s new name, ABB Power Grids Sweden AB (registration number 556029-7029). The scope of accreditation is specified by the marked changes in appendix 2. The accreditation is valid until further notice. Flexible scope of accreditation ABB Power Grids Sweden AB shall always keep an updated list of activities used within its accreditation. For the upcoming assessment you shall provide Swedac a list of changes introduced since the latest decision on accreditation. Flexible scope of accreditation implies that the activities within its accreditation, without applying to Swedac, may do changes in already accredited activities. The type of flexibility of the accredited scope is set out in in appendix 2. Applicable provisions The provisions used in Swedacs accreditation process and which are applicable to activities are set out in appendix 1. Reason for decision The accredited body with accreditation number 1297 has changed its name from 2019-11-01. The body was formerly called ABB AB. Information Application for changed scope, except to the accreditation with flexible scope, must be made to Swedac. During the ongoing four-year assessment cycle, supervision will take the form of:

This laboratory is accredited in accordance with the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This

accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality management system. The accredited laboratory is responsible for the results of performed testing and

submitted judgements as well as, where applicable, for the selection and application of work methods within the scope of the granted accreditation.

The accreditation is valid until further notice. The Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment (Swedac) regularly carries out surveillance, and a full reassessment every fourth year, in order to verify that the

applicable terms of accreditation, see appendix 1 as above, are continually fulfilled.
