The Goal

• Provide a framework to analyze a two-sided matching marketgame in which firms and workers interact over time.

• Identify conditions under which decentralized markets andcentralized markets produce identical outcomes

• Part of a general theoretical question - are therenon-cooperative foundations for cooperative solutions (e.g.,the core)?
