It is with a touch of sadness that we write this note knowing this

will be the final bulletin published from the Northwest church of

Christ. The building may be aging and a bit worn but we, like so

many of you, have many fond memories and so many warm friend-

ships attached to this location. Yet we look forward with great an-

ticipation to the future of the Lord’s church here in Durant as we

unite the 7th and Beech and Northwest congregations together as

one.

Sunday evening, December 30th, will be the final service at the

Northwest building. Beginning Wednesday evening, January 2nd, we

will be united together as THE DURANT CHURCH OF CHRIST. For the

next few months we will meet in the Family Life building at 7th and

Beech as we move forward with plans for a new facility located at

North First and Highway 69/75. We look forward to seeing you

there.

If you are on the mailing list for the Northwest bulletin, you should

start receiving a Durant church of Christ bulletin within the next 2

weeks.
