Fraud• “a deception deliberately practiced in order to secure
unfair or unlawful gain”What does that mean…?
• Purposely tricking or taking dishonest advantage or a person/group to earn or take something• EX: a person promises you will make a lot of money
investing with them, then takes your money and runs!

victim knew• Receiving bank statements to your home makes you 8x more likely to come victim• Electronic hacking increasingly popular; each year 57 million Americans receive scam emails!
