DECEMBER 2019 Magical News All grade levels were cozy in the gym for an hour watching the performance, " on our last day before Thanksgiving Break. It was perfect timing as we are in the season of giving back and being thankful. Our students went on to their classrooms to discuss how they could make a more positive impact in each other's lives. Fourth place in the Challenge 24 went to Carter Shanahan, from PC's 5th grade team. Congrats to all participants for dedicated work. Keep it up Cardinals! Our Cardinal Holiday Program was an eventful fun filled evening. Despite the traffic and parking difficulties families flowed into the theater as warm Wassail and hot coco flowed at the PTO refreshment table. A splendid performance to kick start our month! Our Cardinal Holiday Float was themed "A Holiday for All," and displayed Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Feliz Navid. Excellent work to all who pitched in either with donations, or hands-on support and ideas. We are truly appreciative of all the families that returned paper ornaments for our float. Thank you Ft. Lee and staff for the major assist with setup. PTO Meetings are important! Whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or guardian, don't skip the next meeting on Thursday, December 19 at 4:30 PM. Meetings are to discuss funding and to plan events. Unless we have more volunteers we can not continue to assist with funding for trips, activities, or events like our dances. All energy and money raised goes towards kids. On our final day of school before winter break our K-2nd will be enjoying day complete with a to watch the movie and sip hot coco. Our 3rd-5th grades will be jazzing it up this year to or the Our Cardinal Holidays are being made possible through Hopewell High School Leadership Class, and Chick-Fil-A's Leader Academy. Magical NewsAll grade levels were cozy in the gym for an hour watching the performance, "Have You FilledA Bucket Today?" on our last day before Thanksgiving Break. It was perfect timing as we arein the season of giving back and being thankful. Our students went on to their classrooms todiscuss how they could make a more positive impact in each other's lives.
