of Chaudhary Charan Singh, as Kisan Diwas (Farmers Day) every year.

• This day, Farmer’s seminars are organised at the divisonal, district and the block levels.

• In 1926, On this day Swami Shraddhanand aged 70 had passed away.

• He was an Indian educationist and an Arya Samaj missionary who propagated the teachings of Swami Dayanand.

• In 2004, The 10th Prime minister of India, Mr. P.V Narsimha Rao aged 83 had passed away.

• His ascendancy to the Prime Ministership was politically significant because of the fact that he was the first non-Hindi-speaking holder of this office.
