3. The proponent shall construct pucca drains for storm water which will be fully covered within the project area. This drain exists already and is connected with river Gomti. It should be ensure that the storm water through drain should not pollute the river Gomti.
Is being complied. All drains proposed are being developed as covered drains. The natural
creek flowing along project boundary and merging to river Gomti is being protected by
converting it into RCC Channelized drains with cover on top.
This has been ensured that only storm network will be connected to Natural Drain
connecting to River Gomti.

4. Part of the storm water should be recycled through rain water harvesting pits and suitably used for various purposes.
The proposed township project site is located on cis-Gomti Lucknow- Sultanpur road and is
in proximity of river Gomti, 1000 m north. As per drilling results of Central as well as State
Government Deptts.,aquifers become fine to finer and clay-silts also progressively increase
towards the river. Published dynamic groundwater resource data (2004) of the district by
Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of water Resources , Govt. of India , Mohanlalganj
block has been put in safe category with stage of groundwater development as 75.7%. In
general the sub-surface is constituted by indiscriminate mixture of fine to medium sands
and clay- silts – kankar in varying proportions
In the proposed - Roof top storm water will be diverted to rain water harvesting pits. Rain
Water Harvesting Pits have been provisioned in various project land uses of C. G. Township
Zonal Development Plan as follows:
1. High Level Cancer Institute
Chak Ganjaria Farm- Rain Water Harvesting Pits = 14 Nos.
2. Indian Institute of Information Technology- Rain Water Harvesting Pits = 15

The rain water would recharge the acquifer in the area. and would also be retained in the
natural ponds of the area..
5. 5% of the total green is to be developed as water body for rain water harvesting purpose with a maximum depth of 3 meter as per provision in “Bhavan Nirman aivam vikas upnidhi 2008”. Rain water harvesting pits are suggested to be at site proposed for vermiculture.
Replied vide General Condition #4. In plot areas ≥ 100 sq.m ; rain water harvesting would be mandatory. In plot areas ≤ 300 sq.m; roof top rain water harvesting would be mandatory. On the Master Plan Level, 5% of the green park and open spaces shall be covered under rain water harvesting by LDA. In different >20 acres ≤ projects within Township, 5% of the green park and open spaces shall be covered under rain water harvesting by specific Project Proponents of different land uses. The Landscape Development Plan includes the following major components. The water water bodies will be developed along the Green Connector.

At present construction waste is being generated . The used oil from DG sets is hazardous
in nature and is being disposed off by authorized vendor of Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control
Board.
Spent oil from D.G. sets is carefully stored in HDPE drums in isolated covered facility.
Suitable care is taken so that spills/leaks of used oil from storage could be avoided.
16. The diesel generator sets to be used during construction phase should be low sulphur diesel type and should conform to Environment Protection Rules prescribed for Air and Noise Emission Standards.
20 KVA x 01 No. DG set during construction phase is of light diesel oil and conforms to EP
rules prescribed for D. G. Sets emission standards.
The noise emission from DG set will meet the noise level as per CPCB guidelines and only
HSD of calorific 0.25 will be to run these DG sets. Vibratos pads &acoustic enclosures will
be used in DG set to minimize the vibration effect.

19. Ambient noise levels should conform to prescribed residential standards both during day and night. Adequate measures should be made to reduce ambient air and noise level during construction and operation phase, so as to conform to the norms stipulated by CPCB/SPCB. Ambient air and noise monitoring should be done by an accredited lab and data should also be submitted on six monthly bases to this authority and SPCB.
During Construction Phase activities like operation of DG sets, concreting and mixing,
foundation excavation etc will generate noise for which administrative as well as
engineering control will be implemented. To prevent any occupational hazard, ear muff/
earplug shall be given to the workers working around of operating plant and machinery
emitting high noise levels.
During Operation Phase all the DG set of the proposed project will be kept in Acoustic
Enclosure to reduce the noise from DG set and attached with stacks height as per C.P.C.B
norms to reduce the impacts on air quality around the project site. The noise emission
from DG set will meet the noise level as per CPCB guidelines and only HSD of calorific 0.25
will be used to run these DG sets. Vibratos pads &acoustic enclosures will be used in DG set
to minimize the vibration effect.
Designers of crushers made provisions for the installation of dust abatement, suppression
or collection equipment. To mitigate noise effects well-balanced, choke-fed crushers, dust
enclosed screens and dust collector fans with silencers were employed that kept noise
levels under control.
The landscape design shall comprise of earthen mounds that will act as noise buffer from
adjoining country roads and the hedges acting as windbreaks would produce considerable
noise attenuation in the entire scheme.
20. Thick green belt of adequate width and density shall be raised along the periphery of the plot so as to provide protection against particulates and noise. Native species of trees should be planted.
The overall Green Belt development of the township plan is as follows:

26. Fixtures for showers, toilet flushing and drinking should be of low flow either by use of aerators or pressure reducing devices or sensor based control.
Will be complied.
27. Energy conservation building code to be strictly adopted in all aspects of building design and construction.
As per latest Energy Conservation Building Code, 20% of hot water requirement has to be
met through solar heating system. This will require terrace/ exposed areas. A solar hot
water system will be provided on the terrace.
At the C.G. City Project, it has been proposed that Solar lights in the streets and landscaping
area will be placed.
CCFLs are being used for entire common areas and corridors.
The provision of LED Lights in elevation and signage are being used.
Solar street lights are raised light sources which are powered by photovoltaic panels
generally mounted on the lighting structure. The photovoltaic panels charge a rechargeable
battery, which powers a fluorescent or LED lamp during the night.
The LED street light is an integrated light-emitting diode (LED) light fixture that is used for
street lighting.
