SWhale Times

Season’s Greetings, my lovely Whales!

I hope you all are staying warm and

having an amazing time so far in your year

of service.

I have decided to stick closer to the

newsletter style rather than a magazine

style to make future issues short and sweet.

That is why these newsletters will be a

couple pages long, rather than about ten!

This issue really just pertains to dates

of important things. So please read

through them! It’ll only take about two

minutes. Have a good rest of December!

In Love and Service,

Amy Liu

Lieutenant Governor

The Next DCM

WHERE: Bremerton High School

WHEN: THURS December 19th at 3PM

The Bremerton Key Club will be hosting this one!

We will also have a service project! We are

going to make Christmas Cards to those in

Children Hospitals. Bring whatever you want for

decorations and card making. Also, food is

welcome too! We also might have some hot

chocolate, so be prepared for that. See you

then!

Also, you can bring musical instruments to play

just for fun!

WHERE: Round Table Pizza in Silverdale

WHEN: January 18th, 2014

Why should YOU run for Lieutenant Governor?

Well, you have board meetings every season, and you

meet with some of the BEST PEOPLE you will ever meet. You

learn many things that prepare you for the professional world,

as well as help you develop a sense of responsibility. There are

so many things that I have learned in my term, that I hope I can

help other people learn as well. Oh, also, you can be pretty

darn famous to people in the other divisions as well as DCON

and the other rallies.

What if never held an office in Key Club before?

That does not make you ineligible for this position. You

should run regardless of whether or not you believe you will win

or lose. I mean, you will never know unless you try.

What does a Lieutenant Governor do?

Lt. Governors convene for meetings each season to discuss

what goes on in our district and international. We create DCMs

with our divisions to announce upcoming events and important

issues. Lt. Gs are also in charge of creating newsletters each

month. Also, Lt. Gs are responsible for District Convention as well

as rallies.

SECRETARIES, PLEASE START TURNING IN YOUR

SECRETARY REPORTS.

It is already half way through our terms, yet

the only ones turning them in are Elizabeth

Tatara from South Kitsap, and Roisin Cowan-

Kuist from Port Angeles. Also, keep in mind, I

only got in contact with Port Angeles not too

long ago, and they’re already beating most

of you. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, TURN THEM

IN.
