NAIS-400 software v040200_01_07_11 The new software allows the NAIS-400 to transmit the following NMEA2000 sentences.

• PGN129026 COG and SOG, Rapid Update. • PGN129025 Position, Rapid Update.

This means that the NAIS-400 can be selected as a source of position data on the NMEA2000 bus. Please follow the instructions below to update your NAIS-400.

1. Open the software download.

2. You will get a request to open or save the file, select save

3. When the download is complete you will be prompted to open the file

4. Because the file is “Zipped” you will need to extract the file.

5. Once the files are extracted select the AISupdater.exe file

6. The Program will start and the following will be displayed.

7. Click Start

8. Make sure that your NAIS-400 is not connected to your computer at this stage. Continue by pressing Next…

9. The USB update driver will then request to be installed. Press Next… to start the install.

10. When the USB Driver has installed press Next…

11. The AIS Driver will now install, press Next…

12. Once the AIS USB Driver has installed you can connect your NAIS-400 to your computer using the supplied USB Cable, wait until the Orange and Red LED’s are on and steady.

13. Select Next… The program will then search to make sure that your NAIS-400 is connected.

14. Press Next… to start the update. Once the update has started its very important not to

interrupt the process, it should take 2-3minutes.

15. Once the Update has completed you will get a confirmation as below.

16. Press Close and disconnect your NAIS-400 the update is complete.
