Title : MBRP (Merchant Business Rule Platform) – Merchant SupportClient : VISA Inc.Description : The major purposes of this project are Merchant Name Enrichment, Merchant

Geography Cleansing, Merchant Monitoring, New Merchant Identification, Merchant Rule Implementation. When transaction passes through MBRP, merchant rule is triggered and the instruction contained in the rule results in the assignment of additional merchant names for this transaction which is required for the downstream applications running in the system. Raw transaction data is pulled through Micro Strategy BI tool and analysed to create new rules to capture data and assigned to a proper DBA (“Doing Business As”).Merchant Geography Cleansing involves the enrichment of geographical information of the merchant and its transaction. Misspelling, missing data, inconsistent abbreviation, inconsistent city/zip/state may occur in transaction raw data. It is analysed to enrich merchant geography code which is implemented by executing Ab Initio graphs.Merchant monitoring is to identify abnormal merchant behaviour, which may be caused by changes in Merchant data. The intent of Merchant Monitoring is to provide a series of reports/views that quickly identifies Merchants whose transaction volume appears to deviate from what is considered normal.

Title : GMR (Global Merchant Repository) – Merchant SupportClient : VISA Inc.Description : The merchant data sent by the Acquirer undergoes a certification process where it is

matched with transaction data to measure the quality of the Acquirer sent data. After the certification process the data passes through a series of robust data quality checks through an automated process. The maintenance and enrichment of the data is extremely important as it is used by several downstream applications.

Title : Convergence KPI Reporting and CIO DashboardClient : Hindustan Unilever Description : The purpose of this project is to develop a customised web part which will create a list.

User will be uploading an excel sheet of convergence data every month and the web part will retrieve all the data from that excel sheet and populate the list based on which there will be a tabular and graphical representation of data and deviation will be displayed through graphs.
