an accredited Justices course at Murdoch University. I currently preside on the court bench as both an adults and children’s JP.

Operationally, I am a qualified Search Controller and have been tasked as such on
more than 30 official searches. I am also a qualified Rescue Team Leader and have been involved in hundreds of calls for assistance from the community and
other stakeholder groups.
Prior to my appointment as local manager I have also served as Deputy Manager, Training Manager and Team Leader of the Armadale SES Unit.
Additionally, during 1993 and 1994 I served as a member of the Voluntary
Advisory Committee for a period of two years, representing the South Metropolitan Region. Similarly, I was a committee member of the first working
party for the establishment of legislation of the State Emergency Service in 1994 and 1995.
