Social sciences research makes a huge difference to our lives. And some of the country’s leading experts are based at Sheffield’s two universities. The festival is a unique opportunity for those experts to share their ideas with you.
There are events for all ages and interests, including public debates, conferences for professionals, interactive seminars for school groups, film screenings, exhibitions and more.Entry is free.
Social sciences research influences everything from economics and education to town planning and the law. It affects us all – at work, in school, at home and in our communities. Come along and join the conversation.
