Neonatal Mortality Rate (NMR)

For every 1,000 live births about 6 newborn infants die

before reaching the age of 28 days.

Infant Mortality Rate (IMR)

For every 1,000 live births about 13 infants die at age

below 1 year old.

IMR = 13
