Greetings!

I am very much delighted to share with you all that from the current Academic Year we were offering

TWO new programs with industry collaboration namely B.Com-Business Process Management (In

Collaboration with TCS-Industry Integrated) and B.Sc Computer Science with Cognitive Systems(In

Collaboration with TCS-Industry Integrated). This will usher a new chapter in our annals of college

history.

Department of Commerce & Business Administration organized‘National Level Commerce E-Quiz (Accountancy)’ during 1-7 July 2020. Department of English organized a Webinar on ‘Literature and Ideas’ on 13th July 2020. Dr. D. Laura,

Faculty Member from Bharathiar University was the resource person.

Department of Commerce & Business Administration organized one day National Webinar on

‘Accounting Standards’ in association with ICAI Vijayawada Chapter on 18th July 2020. CA Sasi Kumar

Rampalli, B.Com,LLB,FCA,ACMA(India),ACMA(UK),CMA(USA),CIA(USA),CGMA was the resource person.

The Department of Computer Science had organized a Webinar on “Python Programming” on 23rd July

2020 in collaboration with Pantech, Chennai.

Department of Commerce & Business Administration organized One day National Webinar on ‘Filing of

Income Tax Returns –Law & Procedure’ in association with Vijayawada Branch of ICAI on 25th July 2020.

CA. D. Siva Kishore, M.Com, FCA., and CA. Nitta Ravi Kishore, FCA,ACMA,DISA are the resource

persons.

Department of Chemistry organized a National Webinar on “ICT Tools to Teach Chemistry Online with

Simulation Chemistry Labs” on 27th July, 2020. Prof Samuel Johnson, School of Business, VIT, AP-

Amaravathi and Dr.Khairunnisa Amreen, NPDF, SERB, BIITS Pilani are the resource persons.

Department of Commerce & Business Administration organized ‘Career Opportunities in Banking &

Financial Institutions’ in association with NIIT Ltd. on 29th July 2020. M.S. Manju Singh, NIIT IFBI was

the resource person.

Seventy final year students of Commerce and Business Administration were trained for 100 hours in

Banking, Finance and Insurance concepts by Bajaj-Finserv, Pune as a part of their Corporate Social

Responsibility. Twenty students were qualified in Certificate Programme in Banking, Finance and

Insurance (CPBFI). Six Students of MBA programme had done their Summer Internship in ITC Ltd.,

during 1-18 July 2020.

I congratulate all the faculty members who are adapting very fast to online mode of learning and

actively participating in various webinars offered by various institutions of repute.
