A short note on Diwali, by: Navtej Vetsa, 7yrsDeepawali means “row of lighted lamps”, and short form is Diwali. Diwali is a Hindu festival which lasts for 5 days. It isalso celebrated by Sikhs. Diwali is also used to celebrate a successful harvest. Diwali is a time to exchange gifts. Thefestival celebrates good over evil; light over darkness. Diwali is more popular with Hindus.A Diwali Dhoom 2017 party was hosted by CYIFA Coventry Young Indian Families Association, for which I designedcertificates for people who did outstanding performances and did a presentation about cultures of Diwali. We also did aRaffle Prize Draw. The party was a big success and a lot of fun.
