‘Parent Orientation Programme’ was conducted by the Middle Wing & Secondary Wing of
Vivekananda Public School on 9th April & 21st April,16. The purpose of our orientation
programme was to provide a platform to discuss and share the problems faced by the parents and
to make the parents aware about the assessment criteria and rules & regulations of the school.
Initially the parents were given the detailed information about the scholastic structure of CCE and
also about the Co-Scholastic areas. Then the general information about the fee structure,
disciplinary measures, do’s and don’ts etc were also given. Besides, the experiments with the
apparatus of ‘Think Lab Kit’ were demonstrated by Mr. Danish which had mesmerized the parents.
In the end, doubt clearing session was held and parents freely discussed their grievances and
problems with Mrs. Anita Khurana, Mrs. Sulekha Mattoo. Parents were quite happy and satisfied
after interaction with them. We extended our gratitude to the Management and the Principal, Mrs.
Ashima Jhamb, who thought to organize this programme for the parents.
