    Dear Mr James,

How are you? I'm a student who would like to suggest some new ideas for the ending of your famous novel The turn ofthe screw, if you don't mind.

I have been thinking of a ghost story but with a more tragic ending. It should not end giving death to Miles. This story should bebloody. Both children should be killed by Miss Jessel and Mr. Quint. How,? You will wonder.

    Read my story:

Mrs. Grose doesn't take Flora to the city because Mrs. Grose's sister writes a letter to her saying that she doesn't feel good so MrsGrose goes to see her. She didn't learn anything about the deaths until she finds out in a yellow newspaper some time later.

    How were the children murdered?

Both ghosts just stabbed the children because they were jealous thinking that children would have already forgotten them.Miss Jessel first killed Flora. Flora felt that something horrible was going to happen. Miles was sitting near the lake and could hearthe screams of his sister. The governess went to save Flora but it was too late. Flora was killed in the piano.Miss Jessel stabbed her inthe back .The governess came into the room and saw Miss Jessel. She tried to fight but it was no way and she fell down.

The governess began to cry. She got up and hugged Flora. The governess was covered in blood from the girl. Miles came and watchedJessel out of the window. He opened the window and started chasing the ghost.

Mr. Quint appeared a few metres from the window. He had a knife in his hand. He stabbed Miles in the back. The child cried"Flora". The governess heard Miles and she witnessed as Miles knelt facing the window and fell forwards. The governess saw how he

was dying. She had seen Mr. Quint. She knew who had killed the child. She froze up for a few seconds and then, she reacted andcalled the police. She told them that two children had died. The police asked her who had killed them and she said: "Two people whoworked here. Miss Jessel and Mr. Quint, they are two ghost". The policeman laughed. They didn't believe her .

The reporters learned that something strange had happened in a house. The press followed the police. The police arrested the governess and the press took a lot of pictures of her. The police thought that she had

killed the children. She said she was innocent but they thought she was crazy. Mrs. Grose read the news and went to the police. Shespoke to the governess who was arrested. Mrs. Grose thought that she was crazy and told the police she was guilty.

Miss Jessel and Mr. Quint never left the house.

    Well, here it is.

I hope that you find the end interesting and like it.

    Yours Sincerely

    Ana Beln, a fan.
