Let’s discover how digitalisation affects the work of brand & packaging designers – what are the threats, what are the opportunities? We have invited branding specialists and design professionals from various countries with diverse backgrounds to inspire us with their views from different angles. We hope you enter the dialogue and are interested to find out what YOU think. Before, however, we will be part of the festive Stora Enso Recreate Packaging Awards Ceremony at Westin Palace on Thursday night. We appreciate a lot that our long-standing partner has invited all epda congress attendees to participate. We are looking forward to continuing discussions, to socialising and to getting to know each other better during the networking dinner at NuBel restaurant after Friday’s conference. *** Thursday, 17 May 2018 - 10 pm to 12 pm STORA ENSO RECREATE PACKAGING AFTER-PARTYME REINA VICTORIA, Plaza de Santa Ana, 14 ME Reina Victoria’s rooftop bar with panoramic views across the city is the venue for the drinks’ reception after the gala. We will walk from Westin Palace to ME Reina Victoria together.

*** Saturday, 19 May 2018 - 10 am to 3.30 pmepda ACTIVITY LA COCINA DE SAN ANTON, C/de Augusto Figueroa, 24 A guided walking tour starting from Only YOU Hotel Atocha will reveal some interesting sights – from concept stores to design hubs, from street art to architectural highlights. The tour will take us to the roof-top restaurant of the market hall San Anton, where we will become experts in the art of ham carving with Cinco Jotas. In a little workshop carried out by a professional carver we will find out about its history, varieties and techniques, and taste some great wines. A light lunch together will round off our trip!
