Subject : Orders with Alu Profile and / or Horizontal Grains

We have observed that while placing orders many of our associates have a problem in understanding of ‘G’

(EAPS 29EG) profile, ‘J’ (EAPS 009EJ) profile and Horizontal grain shutters . We would like to highlight how

to place orders.

‘G’ (EAPS 29EG) & ‘J’ (EAPS 009EJ) profiles

In such case, please mention the full size of shutters required. Do not deduct the height of G or J profiles,

as this will be done by default at our back end, while ensuring you get the full size of the shutter to deliver.

If the finished size required is 448 mm (width) x 698 mm (height), please mention the size as 448 mm in the

width column and 698 mm in the height column. Do not deduct the height of the G profile (say 30 mm) and

mention 668 mm in the shutter height column.

Horizontal Grains

For requirement of horizontal grains in wood grain colors having default grain orientation as vertical, do

not interchange the width and height. In such cases, please mention ‘Horizontal Grains’ in the Grain

orientation column and we will ensure that it is produced accordingly.

For your information, if the requirement is horizontal grains with G or J profile, and if you interchange the

width and height since that particular wood grain color has default grain orientation as vertical, then in

such case, the G or J profile will be fixed on the wrong side and the complete order will be produced

incorrectly. You might have to buy the complete order once more.

Hence if the requirement is opposite to the default grain orientation, please mention the required grain

orientation in the separate column rather than interchanging the width and height.

If the size required is 448 mm (width) x 698 mm (height) with horizontal grains and G / J profile,

interchanging the width to 698 mm and height to 448 mm would mean the G section is fixed on the 698

mm side and not on 448 mm side.

The correct method is to mention correct width and height and mention horizontal grains in the grain

orientation column.
