DEAN OFFERS EASY TRANSFER AND LIBERAL ADMISSIONS STANDARDS Students with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA in college-level courses meet the minimum standard for admission Grades of C- accepted for transfer credit (for courses that apply toward the degree at Dean) Students who are accepted with 60 transfer credits will be classified as juniors Students graduating with associate degrees in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, English, History, Psychology or Sociology/Anthropology and accepted into Dean College’s corresponding majors in Business Management, Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Management, English, History, Psychology or Sociology, respectively, will not need to complete any lower-level major requirements provided they do not change their major A maximum of 90 credits will be accepted for transfer into a baccalaureate program; a maximum of 30 credits will be accepted for transfer into an associate degree UNMATCHED ACADEMIC SUPPORT Full-time professional advisors who stay with students throughout their program Free professional and peer tutoring support as well as a Writing Center and Math Center keep students on track 95% on-time graduation rate AFFORDABILITY Free application 95% of students receive financial assistance Part-time options available Transfer Scholarships in addition to need-based financial aid available to full-time students Transfer Commuter Scholarships range from $10,000–$16,000 Transfer Residential Scholarships range from $13,000–$24,000 Completed your Associate Degree?
