How to applyThe ESA Foundation awards numerous scholarships annually; this is the process for applying.
1. Browse scholarships - From the main scholarship page, start by selecting the state of your residence, not where you go to school. Click “Search scholarships” to view the full list of opportunities for the 2013-14 academic years.
2. Create a scholarship account – Once you have identified some potential scholarships, click “Apply now” to access our online scholarship application system. We'll collect your contact, financial, and academic profile information to customize your scholarship search and speed your online submission.
3. Submitting an application - Scholarship applications are submitted online through the automated system and the information collected will be passed along to the scholarship director.
4. After submission - When the application has been determined to meet the Foundation's criteria, it is forwarded to Scholarship Coordinator who checks to see that the applicant meets the necessary criteria. The application is then sent for judging of the particular scholarship for which the student is applying.

DORMBEDDING.COM: #FORTONFLEEK CHALLENGE SCHOLARSHIP

AES Engineering
Purpose of ScholarshipsAES Engineering is pleased to be able to continue offering scholarships to motivated students to help in the furthering of their education.
Scholarship CriteriaOur belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted.
Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.
You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

High School Seniors, Bring Your ‘A’ Game for
Wendy’s High School Heisman
The Wendy’s High School Heisman (WHSH) Award program is accepting applicants for its 2019 class. The Wendy’s High School Heisman Program is looking for all types of high-achieving seniors from more than 29,000 public and private high schools within the U.S. We consider young men and women who participate in a wide range of sports and school and community activities. If you’re one of the 1.4 million high school athletes across the country that excels in the classroom, on the field, and within your school and community, apply now. Horatio Alger Arizona Scholarship ProgramState and National Scholarships valued between $6,000 - $25,000
The Horatio Alger Arizona Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students in the State of Arizona who have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity and who aspire to pursue higher education.
Eligibility

Who Can Apply?
Any young person in grades 5-12 who is a legal resident of any U.S. state or the District of Columbia and who has conducted a volunteer service activity within the 12 months prior to the date of the application. Completed applications need to be submitted to a school principal or the head of an officially designated local organization by the last weekday in October. These organizations are:

Hagan Scholarship FoundationPurpose of the ScholarshipThe Purpose of the Hagan Scholarship is to provide each recipient with the opportunity to obtain a four-year college education and graduate college debt free; and to provide a practical understanding of important life skills not typically taught as a part of the school curriculum. These life skills are taught via Workshops, Schwab Scholar Accounts, and Study Abroad.
Description of ScholarshipThe Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide, need based, merit scholarship; each scholarship will help pay the unmet financial need of the recipient, up to $5,000 each semester.
Personal and transportation costs are the responsibility of the recipient. The scholarship award amount can be increased subsequent semesters to offset the expiration of
other scholarships, grants and awards received by recipient. During the fall semester of the second year of college recipients will be provided with a personal

Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
Eligibility:
Current high school seniors, or the equivalent, who are citizens of the United States are eligible to apply.
Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks. High school graduates are not eligible to apply. Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed;
permanent legal resident status does not qualify.
Awards:
The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2019 competition.
Male and female students compete separately. Ranging from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for
students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.
The Chicago office of the Elks National Foundation will announce the 2019 500 national winners in late April 2019. (Many local Lodges, districts and state Elks associations award their own scholarships through this program. These scholarships are not to be confused with the 500 Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarships.)
The 20 top finalists will participate in an all expenses paid Leadership Weekend in Chicago during which they’ll interview with the national judges. These 20 finalists will be vying for two first-place awards of

GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.
Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board. In addition, Scholars are invited to participate in a special awards program and receive ongoing leadership-development support.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this award, applicants must:
demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship;
demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);
be citizens of the United States of America; be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living
on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible); and
plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
Semifinalists will be required to provide a recommendation from a community leader, such as a high school principal, elected official or executive director of a nonprofit organization, and must provide documentation to certify academic performance and financial need. John F. Kennedy: Profile in Courage Essay ContestEligibility
The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools; U.S. students under the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED program in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or the U.S. territories; and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas. Past winners and finalists are not eligible to participate. Employees of John Hancock Financial Services and members of their families are not eligible to participate.

The contest deadline is January 18, 2019. Essays can be no more than 1,000 words but must be a minimum of 700 words.
Citations and bibliography are not included in the word count. Essays must be the original work of the student. John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Edward M. Kennedy are not eligible
subjects for essays. Essays must describe an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served

Nominating Teachers
All students must list the name of their nominating teacher on the registration form. The role of a nominating teacher is to provide students with support and advice during the writing of their essay. Nominating teachers are also asked to read students' essays to make suggestions for improvement before they are submitted to the essay contest. As part of this review process, the nominating teacher reviews the essay for syntax, grammatical, typographical and spelling errors and ensures the essay meets the contest requirements listed above.

EAC Scholarships – Seniors
Eastern Arizona College has several types of scholarships available.
The priority deadline for submission of scholarship applications is March 1. Those applications submitted after this date will only be considered to the extent of available funds. Scholarships are primarily awarded on the basis of academic excellence, performance in a particular area, or financial need.

EAC Dual Enrollment Scholarships Gr 9-11
Eastern Arizona College has a few scholarships available to students in Grades 9 -11 who are taking a dual enrollment course while in high school.

Prina Family Scholarship
The Prina Family’s goal is to provide a scholarship for students who graduate from a public high school in Graham County, AZ.
Criteria:
Must be a high school senior or a college undergraduate who graduated from a traditional public high school in Graham County, AZ. Slight preference will be given to college undergraduates.
Attending a college or university following high school graduation.
Minimum high school unweighted GPA of 3.25 for high school student and 3.0 for college students.
ACT or SAT test scores strongly recommended.
Student in any field of study at any undergraduate level with a minimum of 2 semesters before college graduation.
Slight preference is given to students with financial need as determined by FAFSA or explain financial need in writing on a scholarship application.
Selection will be based on essay ideas (15%) and essay organization/grammar (10%), characteristic to achieve (25%), extracurricular activities, character, ethics, etc, community involvement (15%), academic performance (15%), references (10%) and financial need (10%).
Award Details:
The Prina Legacy Scholarship is a 4 year renewable award. The amount and number of awards will vary depending on type of school and student financial needs. The amounts may range from $4,000 - $40,000 spread out over 8 semesters. Funds could be held over for a master program but still can only be spread out over 8 semesters.

Gila Valley Rotary 2019 ScholarshipEach year, the Gila Valley Rotary Club awards a scholarship to a deserving student.

Catholic Daughters of the Americas
College ScholarshipScholarships will be awarded to Catholic students enrolled full time (12 credits) in a junior college or four year college. Scholarships will be awarded to deserving high school students who have been accepted as a full time college student for the fall semester.
Eligibility:
1. The applicant must be a resident of Graham county and a member of the Catholic Church in Pima, Safford, Fort Thomas, San Jose Mission or Soloman.
2. An application form must be submitted along with the supporting documents listed below.
3. The applicant must provide a copy of transcripts of grades from the most recent completed school year.
4. The applicant must submit three letters of recommendation:1. One from the pastor or deacon of his/her church2. One from a current teacher familiar with the applicant’s work.3. One from a non-relative who can vouch for the applicant’s character
and community service. 5. The applicant must write a letter describing why he/she should be
selected for the scholarship. Very Important! Please state financial need!6. A letter of acceptance from the college you plan to attend.7. All entries must be postmarked by Friday, April 26, 2019 and mailed to:
