Dead Men Tell No Tales Welcome to the Swanky Mermaid Tavern.

The Brigantine Ship Bilge Rat, under the command of Captain Calico Jack, is docked in the

bay and its’ crew comes to the Swanky Mermaid Tavern for respite and plenty of ale.

There is always competition on the high seas for booty that lies across the water, but

Captain Calico Jack led his ship into uncharted waters and raided another Pirate Ship - The

Ranger. Piracy is the act of robbery or criminal violence at sea. Those who commit piracy

are called Pirates. Those who seek revenge they call Davy Jones.

Among the crew is the First Mate Anne Bonnie, Quartermaster Steeley Dan, Privateer

Jonathan Blackthorne, and of course Captain Calico Jack – First female pirate to captain a

ship.

It’s rumored that Captain Calico Jack had a personal vendetta against the Captain of

the Pirate Ship Ranger – Captain Stanton, and mislead the crew to take over The

Ranger and kill the crew and sink the ship. Believing that the Bilge Rat’s crew is safe

at the Swanky Mermaid Tavern, the crew lets their guard down under the

leadership of the Captain.

First Mate Anne Bonnie – Smart and witty, Anne Bonnie is very in tune with what

really goes on behind the Captain’s quarters. She knows too much about Calico Jack

and has to tread lightly with what she knows. This might be her chance to change

the direction of the Bilge Rat, AND the Captain. Can you say mutiny?

Quartermaster Steeley Dan believes Calico Jack has his best interest in mind,

especially in light of the fact Calico Jack saved Dan’s life when he was captured by

the Ranger and tortured for a map that didn’t exist. He owes Calico Jack his life, and

would do anything for his Captain.

Privateer Jonathan Blackthorne is a thief, a liar, and a manipulator. A Pirate to

the core, he has the blood line of one of the most devious Pirates of them all –

Blackbeard. While he enjoyed pillaging The Ranger and killing the crew, Jonathan is

not real sure all of the crew perished. He offers to stand watch and provide warning

should anything develop – but every Pirate really has a motive and a secret.

You are the customers at the Swanky Mermaid Tavern and it will be up to you to pay

attention to the events that unfold before you, because someone will die tonight, and

you will have to solve it. Not all is what it may appear to be. Read your clues and ask

your questions, and perhaps you will survive what is about to transpire and reap the

true bounty – THE REWARD!
