4. *Add value to what you’ve found. *HOW TO ADD VALUE! 1. Select a topic that interests you, a topic you know can lead you to talk about Jesus and you suspect may interest your friend 2. Locate an article, video, music video, photo, piece of content that peaks your interest. It is better if you are familiar with the content already so it may be that you already have shared it recently or read/watched it 3. Watch or read it in FULL. 4. Think about it, pray for insight into the piece. 5. Write out your thoughts. A few sentences to a couple paragraphs. Be authentic in your writing and sharing.

Consider these questions to help you get started:

a) What character did you relate to or identify with? Why? b) How did this piece make you feel? c) What memories did it evoke? d) What questions came to mind that you wanted to ask the creator? e) What is your interpretation of this piece? f) What is main idea that lead you to think about Jesus? g) What did it teach or remind you about Jesus?

6. Select one train of thought and summarize into a sharable nugget, ie. a few sentences. 7. Craft a question that relates to your summary to ask your friend. For example, if the piece caused you to think about how awesome it would be to jump out of plane and feel the exhilaration of free falling, then an appropriate question would be along those lines. “What experience do you wish you could have that would be unbelievably exhilarating?” Don’t ask a question that comes out of nowhere or is unrelated to your own thought process. For example, “What do you think happens when we die?”

8. Put your thoughts, question/s into a post/blog/email with a link to the original content. In addition to your key thought nugget include one or two sentences that summarize the content and remember to credit the author of the piece if not obvious in the shared content. 9. Press SHARE!
