Project based course – with lectures and practical components of Interaction Design
The course will include the study of Interaction Design fundamentals, design process and evaluation methodologies

Assignment 1: Create a design brief (on any existing project you have worked before)

Literature review (secondary research)
Stakeholders, expert interviews
Contextual inquiry & data modeling
Assignment 2: Practical applications of taught user research theories – in a given context of project brief

Form factor-posture-input methods
Design principles
Information architecture-task flow-wireframe design
Assignment 3: Design of new proposal and concept on given project brief

Formative evaluation – think aloud protocol design and implications
Summative evaluation – statistical methods used in HCI
Assignment 4: Formulate any one evaluation protocol and experiment them through field trials on designed concept
