Duval County Public Schools High School Graduation Requirements

Courses

For students entering grade 9prior to 2006-2007

* American Sign Language (ASL) may be used to meet the foreign language requirement. Postsecondary institutions outside ofFlorida may not accept ASL as a foreign language credit.

** Students who scored a Level 1 or 2 on the FCAT Reading and/or Mathematics tests must be scheduled into an appropriateintensive reading/mathematics course or provided remediation as determined by diagnosis of needs.

Students must complete four (4) Major Area of Interest (MAI) credits prior to graduation.
