� Programmes conducted for Truck drivers, contract labour, loading /unloading labour
� So far 2,00,000 persons covered under the programme
� Film music cassettes with AIDS message distributed to truck drivers
� Free distribution of condoms
� Special awareness drive through “Nukkad Natak” and Group Songsconducted for local community – Extended Supply Chain

Challenges faced
� Ignorance and misconception about AIDS
� Hesitation to discuss the subject

� Society not ready to accept affected persons
� Supply chain is large – Substantive efforts required to cover the entire chain
� Supply Chain (Small and medium enterprises) indifferent to adopt andpursue intervention programmes

Future Plans
� Evolve strategies for faster dissemination of the programmethrough the entire supply chain
� Create multiple nodal centers within supply chain for fasterimplementation
� Exercise our influence on Supply Chain to adopt HIV-AIDSintervention programmes
� Synergize efforts with government and other agencies tocreate and utilise medical infrastructure more effectively
� Provide financial assistance for intervention programmes
