DESCRIPTION
Our project was to select a celebrity and create a mock-up photo shoot. We had to pick a magazine, photo shoot location, and the clothing, make-up, and styling for the shoot. For the shoot I chose beaches in New York that had an old feeling to them [the found objects/toy remnants that can be found at Dead Horse Bay, the old forts at Ft. Tilden Beach, and the kitsch retro feel of Coney Island]. I chose to create a vibe of a '60's teenage girl's summer, with the theme "Mr. Sandman, Bring Me a Dream". I chose Tavi Gevinson as my muse. I then published my project into an actual magazine format for presentation.
