The choice is yours!If you’re a holder of a Lincolnshire concessionary bus pass then you’re able to travel for free on all local bus services that start or finish in Lincolnshire at any time of the day. Holders of passes issued by South Kesteven District Council can only travel for free within the South Kesteven boundary.

GranthamLocated on the river Witham, Grantham is an ancient attractive red brick town which owes much of its position as a staging post between London and the north. The 281ft high spire of St Wulframs Church is one of its dominating features. With it’s many thriving shops and several indoor shopping centres, numerous pubs and eating places. Market day is Saturday with a farmers market once month. The town’s history is recorded at the museum. Grantham is well known for its local personalities including Sir Issac Newton and Margaret Thatcher. LouthThe capital of the Wolds, Louth is the largest market town in East Lincolnshire with an intricate network of charming streets and fine Georgian and Victorian buildings. Mercer Row and Eastgate are the main shopping streets. Cornmarket is the place to be on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for all the market stalls. BostonA market town famous for the “Stump” steeped with history and distinctive architecture. The market town is dominated by St Botolphs Church with its 271ft high tower that can be seen 20 miles away. Boston is the town in which the Pilgrim Fathers were imprisoned in 1607 following their first attempt to escape to America. Boston has a busy market held every Wednesday and Saturday, with a festival in the summer and a special Christmas market. Shops are centred around the market place. Distinctive buildings include Blackfriars 13th century Friary and Customs House. SleafordSleaford twinned with Marquette Lez Lille in Northern France, is located on the river Slea and Sleaford canal. It is an attractive and busy small market town whose skyline is dominated by the 144 ft stone spire of St Denys church. Sleaford has the historic remains of a 12th century castle. Markets are held on a Monday, Friday and Saturday. Belton House near GranthamBuilt in 1685-89 for the young Sir John Brownlow, Belton is a fine example of a restored National Trust country house. The grounds include a landscaped park, gardens, a lakeside walk and childens adventure playground. Many events are held throughout the year such as horse trials, open air concerts and an Easter trail. Also worth a visit is the nearby Belton Garden Centre. Tattershall Castle near ConingsbyThis dramatic 15th century red brick tower, surrounded by a moat with spectacular views across the fens.
