Professional Day/Night Body Camera with 27x Zoom Lens for easy selection of any viewing angle between 1 to 60° during installation and Auto Focus. This camera is ideal for viewing objects that are far away from the camera or for viewing moving objects that are at varying distances from the camera thanks to its 27x zoom and auto focus function. The camera has an RS485 connection allowing the Zoom, Focus and On Screen Display set up of its features to be controlled remotely by any DVR or Controller that supports Pelco D. The CCTV Camera features traditional styling makes it an excellent deterrent to warn criminals that a building has a CCTV system. The camera is recommended for use in very high risk applications where high quality surveillance is required. It is designed for internal use as supplied and can be wall or ceiling mounted using an optional bracket. The camera can also be used externally using an optional weatherproof housing. The camera is IR sensitive for use with Infra Red lighting.

zz Ideal for very high risk applications, the camera is built around a Sony 1/4” Super HAD CCD image sensor which provides identification quality images.

zz The camera is sensitive to Infra Red (IR). When used with this type of lighting the camera can see in low light or complete darkness. The camera shows Colour images in good lighting conditions and then switches to B/W images in low light or complete darkness, when in this mode the camera can see the light produced by the IR lighting and provide good quality images as if it was daylight.

zz The camera is able to produce 550/600 TVL images. These are equivalent to DVD quality and suitable for recording at 704x576 (4CIF) or 720x576 (D1) resolutions.

zz The camera will operate in light levels down to 0.5 lux, making it suitable for use in any environment that has a light level above 0.5 lux. Examples of environments that have a light level above 0.5 lux are:

z- Dawn and Dusk

z- A Residential Road with Street Lighting

z- A Bar or Nightclub

zz The camera is fitted with a 3.9 to 105.3mm auto iris zoom lens which features auto focus and a maximum optical zoom of 27x. The camera has an adjustable horizontal viewing angle of 1 to 60°.

zz The camera features an Xvision IXC1HQDNE DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip which offers the following functions to increase the image sensors performance:

z- Automatic Electronic Iris - This feature automatically adjusts the brightness of the camera image to match the amount of available light.

z- Automatic White Balance - This feature automatically adjusts the colour temperature of the camera image to match the type of light available, so that white and other colours appear as natural as possible.

z- Automatic Gain Control - This feature automatically increases the video output level of the camera in low light conditions. This has the effect of making the picture brighter (however it may also add more noise to the picture, as it is amplifying all aspects of the video signal)

z- Back Light Compensation - This feature makes objects in front of a bright scene (such as a window on a bright sunny day) clearer to see by increasing their brightness and making the background darker.

z- Low Smear - This feature helps to balance out the camera image when some areas of it may be looking at very bright or reflective objects.

z- Edge Enhancement - This feature sharpens the edges of objects and people in the camera image making the picture sharper and the resolution higher.

z- Zero Colour Rolling - This feature stops the colours in the image from changing hue every few seconds (also known as hunting or colour rolling). This happens to all colour CCD cameras that do not have this feature when used in environments where 2 different light environments are visible, for example when viewing a room that is lit up by a light bulb and also by light coming in through a window. z- Day/Night - This feature works in conjunction with a special filter on the image sensor, the filter on the image sensor allows the camera to see light emitted from IR lighting as white light, allowing the camera to see in low light and complete darkness without actually visibly (to human eyes) lighting up the area. The Day/Night function then converts this image to B/W so it can be seen clearly and also balances out the picture so that the picture is not too bright.
