KTBA253 TIMING KIT FORD RANGER & MAZDA BT50 2.5L & 3.0L DTFI (WLAT & WEAT) NOV2006 – OCT2011 NOTE: FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE REFER TO RELEVANT OEM OR INDUSTRY TECHNICAL INFORMATION SHEETS Please note that the KTBA253 Timing Kit contains an auto tensioner with a built in hydraulic actuator as part of the assembly and is fitted with a plastic tube around the mount bolt threaded shank to keep the assembly intact prior to installation. Similar to most Hydraulic Auto Tensioners, this actuator comes preloaded and pinned in its most inward position, and must not be released until such time it is installed onto the engine with timing belt in place. The functionality of the auto tensioner assembly is adversely affected and MUST NOT BE USED if any of the following situations are allowed to occur prior to installation. Warranty claims made with evidence of any of these situations occurring shall be rejected.
